Introduction feat. Waving Kitty

Hello! Welcome to my blog, a Humble Social Justice Cleric. Here, I hope you’ll find something useful or interesting to you to do with social activism.

This will be a personally run and managed intersectional feminist and social justice page, fighting all forms of structural oppression and institutional bias, (with the understanding that there is no “reverse” to any of these forms though there are very real backlashes), including (in no particular order):

  • Racism
  • Sexism
  • Homophobia
  • Sizeism/Fatphobia
  • Ableism
  • Transphobia/Cissexism
  • Classism
  • Anti-Semitism
  • And any and all intersections of these institutions including Misogynoir and Transmisogyny.

Aims:

I aim to create and promote a full and updated list of activists from different walks of life who share the same passion for true and free equality*. I want to help create a hub and a network of different perspectives and resources, which is why I have left tumblr to create a more stable and useful resource to empower activists from all walks of life, to stay safe and stay stable when working to upturn the conventions of today and create a more equal, fair, and free society of tomorrow.

Which all sounds very serious, but that’s just the world we live in now: if you’re not really that bothered about change, you’re probably part of the problem.

Limitations:

As a white able-bodied conventionally attractive cis AFAB person, I am societally privileged, and have done a lot of work to recognise and actively combat this, but I know that that is not enough, and I am by no means done. I hope to learn and grow as I build this site, and I aim not to tread upon anyone’s toes, and especially not those who have already been stepped on and spoken over too many times before. I don’t believe it’s a challenge to create a respectful society that can move past history, if we who have space and strength unite in creating it. I don’t believe anyone has to be left behind for it.

I’m really looking forward to slowly moving some of my best and favourite examples of truly outstanding activists from my bookmarks, tumblr blog, and facebook page to here to protect, preserve, and share them, hopefully with like-minded people who will be able to appreciate and even build off of these resources, to help spread and share our hopes for change.

*Very Important Note: Do not confuse “equality” and “freedom” with “libertarian”, this page fully supports the ideals of Marxist communism, and is hence heavily socialist and pro-worker.
